Tues, Nov 9

Went to bed late last night. I suppose I should clarify though, since it's all relative, right? 10pm for me is late. Felt it today, especially when work got a little slow during the afternoon. Eyelids became heavy, I fought to stay awake. I thought I'd drag during the WOD but I felt better than expected.

FOOD

BF = fruit/spinach smoothie

Snack = banana

Lunch = bbq pulled pork, spinach/avocado salad, 5 paleo cookies

Snack = six 71% cacao discs, apple

Dinner = vegetable beef soup

WOD

WU:
CLCF WU 1x
3 sets of:
10 hang power snatch
10 hang squat snatch
10 snatch balance
use PVC then progress to empty bar/low weight

Strength: Deadlift
40% x 5
50% x 5
60% x 5

WOD

10 Rounds of
8 Pull ups
8 ring dips

RESULT = 10:35 but I did 5 rnds of kipping PUs before trading to ring rows for the other 5 rnds. I didn't care to further rip my hands (see Micahel's war wounds below). Also used purple band on ring dips.

DLs:   40% = 80#,  50% = 100#,  60% = 120#.   I gotta say, after the previous DL stuff we've done these really seemed like cake!

  1. last night was a good one! pull ups, ring dips, and hand stands, OH MY! ...i do believe i'm in for a rest day though :)
