Sun, Nov 14

Man, this time change still hasn't affected Owen yet. There's nothing like having to wake up at 6am on the weekends. Thankfully though, weekends often allow for nap times.  ;)

FOOD

BF = 2 fried eggs, 3 pieces of bacon

Snack = apple

Lunch = chicken salad lettuce wraps

Snack = pumpkin pudding + 1 block 86% cacao

Dinner =  gr beef/salsa/black beans/avocado concoction on lettuce

WOD

Team WOD practice today for competition on Dec 5. It went well. I was nervous but was able to bust out DLs better than expected.

30 wall balls, each team member, one at a time (M=20#, F=14#)

Then simultaneously each person tackles a station at each of the following, rotating when the last person of the group finishes whatever station they are at, until all stations have been completed by all members:

box jumps 24"
30 KB swings  M=53#, W=35#
30 push press M=45#, W=25# dumbbells

30 DLs, each team member, one at a time (M=225# F=135#)

RESULT = 19:31. Not bad & I was excited for our team. We finished within the 20min cut-off, and I was proud of myself having done better than I thought, especially doing the tall box jumps for the first time. WHEW! While right now I don't forsee our team dominating at the competition, we'll still be a force to be reckoned with (so long as OHS aren't a part of the deal).
