2012 Europa CrossFit Tournament!!

WOD 1:
Participating Team Members:  Angelica, Jax, Danny, Jason
50 back squats per team member, 185#/135#
15min cap 
Results = 13:41, 7th in our heat (of 12), 4 teams DNF

   Jax & Angelica back squatting (sorry it's sideways!)

Loved that this team dressed in the 80s and wore wigs. Check out those short shorts!!

WOD 2:

Participating Team Members:  Angelica, Carey, Danny, Jason

• Each member does 15 Curtis P's (1 rep = 50#/30# sandbag clean, 1 lunge each leg, and press overhead)
• 2 ppl complete a 200m leapover while the other two sprint with the sandbags 200m, then drop the bags and sprint back to begin their 200m leapovers. When first pair completes leapovers they pick up the sandbags and do the sprint
• After all memebers finish the sprint, each member then has to do 10 weighted burpees (30#/10#), full extension of the weighted arm, the other hand touches the weight at the top -- no need to jump

Results = 9:00, 3rd in our heat

WOD 3:

Participating Team Members:  Jax, Carey, Danny, Jason

• Team moves all equipment a total of 400m, down & back
• Each member completes 21-15-9 snatch (95#/65#)
• Then runs 400m run between each set

Results = 9:41, 3rd in our heat

I was excited about this wod. The music & adrenaline pumping was making me feel jiggy. So I busted out a move or two. Check out the mortified face on Jax. Danny is trying to pretend he doesn't see or know me, and Jason is simply hanging his head in shame. BAHAHAAHAH!
