Warmup:
I'll give them this. The warmup looked super easy, but the planks were no joke. I was breathing hard after those -- and you're not even moving!!
WOD 1:
Me likey double-unders, but not so much the running....
Results WOD 1:
They had some really good runners in there! Apparently, about 85% of this guy's clients are from the naval air station there in Corpus. The DUs were the only things that kept me in the running, since most did singles instead of DUs. 3 of us RXed it.
Push Jerk -- spent an hour working solely on technique and finding 1RM for push jerk! Good stuff. I was wasted after the earlier wod, then this.
Results:
YEEHAW! 1RM PR on this, at 115#. I also have to check my 1RM for cleans, as we did this from the ground. But I wanna say perhaps I had already done a 118# clean before...
(I really need [translate "want"] some oly-lifting shoes now....)
